FEM HTN Complex is a combination of nutrients and herbs for improving all aspects of cardiovascular health. This combination contains Hawthorne;  this botanical has multiple modes of action including acting as a mild diuretic, ACE-inhibitor, beta-blocker and calcium channel blocker. Hawthorne strengthens the contractions of the heart, slowing the heart rate due to more efficient activity and facilitates the relaxation of the vascular smooth muscle; reducing blood pressure and vascular tone. FEM HTN Complex also contains the amino acid Taurine; most concentrated in the heart, skeletal muscle and nervous system. Taurine is a metabolic transmitter with a detoxifying and diuretic effect.  During periods of extreme physical exertion and stress the body will not produce required amounts of Taurine. This amino acid is also used for the treatment of high blood pressure and high cholesterol. FEM HTN Complex contains N-Acetyl Cysteine; which is known for its liver protecting qualities. NAC has been used for the prevention of heart disease. FEM HTN contains pomegranate which is rich in tannins and a multitude of polyphenolic antioxidant compounds and is associated with blood pressure reduction, inhibition of LDL oxidation and the prevention of atherosclerotic lesions. FEM HTN Complex works well in combination with FEM CoQ10 and FEM Omega 3.

Dosage:  Take 2 capsules twice daily or as recommended by your health care practitioner.
